AFL Victoria regrets to inform the Victorian football community of the passing of Northern Bullants treasurer Lloyd Scott.
Lloyd filled many roles in our game and his contribution to Victorian football was outstanding. Lloyd's achievements:
- Lloyd was the Founder of the now defunct PDJFA (Preston Districts Junior Football Association)
- Administrator of the MNFL (Defunct Senior League)
- Awarded Order of Australia for his services to Community Football
- Member of the Northern Knights Supporters Committee 1995-2009
- Treasurer of the Preston Knights Football Club
- Treasurer of the Northern Bullants.
- Long time member of the VMFL
- Legend of Community Football in the Northern Suburbs
- Current member of AFL Victoria's Appeals Board
The Pavilion at the Northern Knights office is called the Lloyd Scott Pavilion.
Lloyd was great Community Football person and he will be sadly missed. AFLV offers our sincere condolences to his wife Margaret and his family.
The funeral for Lloyd Walter Scott will be held at 1pm on Thursday 30th April at the Preston City Football Ground, Cramer St, Preston.
