Tigers recruit Tim Clarke has told of his pleasure at seeing his younger teammates earn their stripes.
"It's a different mindset, but its also exciting when you rock up to training and most of the guys there are between 18 and 21 and you
get a fair bit out of watching them develop as players," Clarke said.
Coburg Tigers coach Jade Rawlings described the signing of Clarke, a playing-midfield coach, as a real coup for the club.
"Jade said it would be good for me to come down not only as a player, but also to do a bit of coaching as well," Clarke said.
"I had some options - my brother is in Adelaide and I had other offers, but there was too much in Victoria for me to move. Jade spoke to me about the club and it seems like a good club to play for and in the short time I have been here that has been the case."
