Sandringham remains atop the VFL ladder after wearing down Frankston in the bayside battle at Frankston Park today.
The Zebras piled on the last seven goals of the game to cruise to a 30-point victory.
Nick Suatner was again the star with six goals, with supply coming from Zebras Peter Summers (28 disposals) and David Gallagher (24 touches). Saints-listed players Xavier Clarke (25 possessions) and Matt Maguire (20 touches) also impressed.
Ruckman Ben McEvoy dominated the stopages and was nimble at ground level while hard nut Tom Paterakis (12 possessions) shut down Frankston star runner Marcus Marigliani (14 posessions).
Best for the home side on 'I Love Frankston' Day was Justin Berry (28 touches) and lively defender Matthew Burns (28 touches).
At ABD Group Stadium, Coburg obliterated Geelong by 74 points.
Richmond-listed player Jay Schulz kicked seven majors while skipper Nick Carnell played a blinder with four goals.
Geelong's best was Brodie Moles, who kicked three goals.
Williamstown shook off its pre-season rust to deliver a 62-point blow on Collingwood.
The Seagulls fell 25-points behind in the first term but quickly regained its swagger to overpower the Magpies.
Guy O'Keefe was an outstanding player, amassing 26 touches and five goals in a nmidfield role. Other Seagulls in frorm included Matthew Little (four goals), recruit Chris Egan (three goals) and Jarrod Grant (three goals).
Collingwood was best served by Brad Dick, who slotted four goals.
