The Northern Bullants will field its strongest line-up of the pre-season on Saturday against Frankston.
The Visy Park clash at 2pm is the last hit-out before the Bullants Round 1 clash versus Bendigo on Sunday, April 12.
According to www.northernbullants.com.au, key Bullants-listed players Adam Iacobucci, David Boundy, Jason Saddington and Andre Gianfagna all set to return from a weeks rest. With Shaun Grigg and Andrew Walker expected to press for Carlton selection, the Bullants will field a strong Carlton group of players also, including Brad Fisher who is still working his way into some form after a pre-season injury.
The match against Frankston will be a six-quarter match with the first four quarters essentially being the senior match. So the club encourages all supporters to get down to Visy Park early for the 11.30am start.
Following the six quarters against Frankston, the remainder of the Bullants list will play a four-quarter match against Yarra Valley club Sylvan, the reigning premiers of the YVMDFL have a couple of former AFL players including ex-Essendon forward Gary Moorcroft.
