Amoung a field of 50+ eager trainees at the Gabba Cricketers Club, Neumann was an obvious favourite for the award with his fantastic work effort and attential to detail a standout in his work with AFLQ in 2008. Jeff has also taken on a broad range of tasks in his short time with AFLQ and continues to excel with all aspects of his work. Jeff is currently exploring the world of coaching in his role as co. coach of the 2009 U14 representative team where early signs seem very positive with over 40 particpants attending training sessions over the first 2 weeks of the program.
What's more impressive is the fact that Jeff became the first Darling Downs trainee to take out this title on Thursday night and was further rewarded by being appointed the new Darling Downs Development Officer, replacing Dustin Wilson. While Jeff certanly has big shoes to fill we are all very confident he has the ability to fill the void left by Dusty.
Congartulations Jeff on your award win and your appointment as new Development Officer for the Darling Downs!!
