Ex-TAC Cup stars Kyle Cheney, Michael Hurley and Nick Suban all made their AFL debuts last weekend.
Cheney lined-up for the Demons against North Melbourne at the MCG yesterday. The former North Ballarat Rebel collected 22 disposals at an excellent efficiency of 91 per cent. Playing opposite Cheney was former Murray Bushanger Ziebell, who had 10 disposals and six marks.
Ex-Northern Knight Hurley proved to be capable in defence for the Bombers against Port Adelaide at AAMI Stadium, showing skill and poise for 14 possessions, five marks and four tackles. His disposed the football effectively 93 per cent of the time.
Against the Bulldogs for Fremantle, Suban had nine disposals including a super long-range goal in the third term at Subiaco.
