This year's AFL NAB Cup competition saw 24 Victorian players debut, again confirming Victoria's status as the premier pathway to the national competition.
In 2009, Victoria produced 36 per cent of the 67 players to debut in the NAB Cup thus making the TAC Cup the number one player pathway to the elite level.
Among those to debut was Collingwood draftee Steele Sidebottom, who returned to Telstra Dome just months after bagging 10 goals in the 2008 TAC Cup Grand Final.
