Bendigo has launched its own club magazine "Flight Path".
The new publication is in addition to the club's new website and both are key tenets of the club's strategy for future growth.
Flight Path contains all the latest Bombers news, events and player interviews.
Bendigo Bombers General Manager Peter Lodewijks said the magazine, supported by regular online news updates, would provide the club's members with a higher level of communication than had been possible in the past.
"We are 'feeling our way' into new territory with this first edition, which is one component of the whole organisation's focus on leaving the past behind us, continuing to move forward, taking positive steps to shape our future and generally, meeting the expectations which our members and supporters have in relation to Bendigo's own VFL team," Lodewijks said.
"A club magazine will provide an improved forum in which the continued development of our playing list and especially young players and new recruits can be showcased."
The first edition of Flight Path, Bendigo Bombers' own quarterly magazine, is out now. Flight Path can be downloaded for free at Bendigo's new website, www.bendigobombers.com
Lodewijks said the new website was more user-firendly and would provide a wide-range of information about the Bendigo Bombers.
"It will provide a focal point for our members and supporters to access details about the club, its operations and current and future events," he said.
"It will be updated regularly and it's another component of the club's overall strategy for moving forward in 2009."
