Referee of the Month - July 2023
Congratulations to Max Watkins-Brown on winning the Zambrero Joondalup - Referee of the Month for the month of July!
Max has consistently been improving with every game he referees this season! He is always willing to help cover a gap or referee more games. Max is eager to become a better official by taking on the Referee Instructors feedback. Max has now completed the recent BWA Level 1 Referee Course. He is striving to complete his sign off’s so he can become a black and white official and help the younger official develop.

Wolfpack Basketball’s Zambrero Joondalup Referee of the Month recipient recognizes our club’s refereeing talent and commitment across the entire Association from Domestic to WABL.
Each month a referee will be recognized for their attitude, work ethic and development as a referee.
Every monthly winner receives a voucher from our valued sponsor, Zambrero Joondalup, as well as enters the draw at the end of the year to win a $100 Ref Warehouse voucher to help gear up for their ongoing development as an official.
