Emme was a member of the team that competed in the Women’s Series Tournament in Edmonton last month while Tiarna resumes her international career for the first time since the 2022 Commonwealth Games.

The pair will be joined in Quebec by the experienced duo of Chevannah Paalvast and Ash Taia.

Last but not least a shout-out to 2023 U19 Championship winner Aaron Sievert. Playing for his Northcote College team in the Auckland Senior A competition Aaron scored an incredible 67 points in the 117-62 win against Manurewa High School on Monday.

The 67-point mark sets a new school record and is certainly one of the highest individual game scores posted in high school basketball in recent years.
