This notice is to remind all members that clause 20.4 of the new Ellinbank & District Football Netball League Constitution (EDFNL) and that adopted by all clubs on 2 August 2022) reads:
20.4 The Board shall consist of:
(a) Five (5) of whom, known as Directors, shall be honorary and shall be elected in accordance with Rule 19 into one of the following portfolios:
(i) President (One year term)
(ii) Director of Football (*initial term one year)
(iii) Football Operations Manager
(iv) Director of Netball (*initial term one year)
(v) Netball Operations Manager
Note: The new EDFNL Constitution can only be certified by Consumer Affairs Victoria (CAV) once all the five (5) board positions have been officially appointed and names submitted to CAV along with the “application to amalgamate paper” and the associated documentation verifying the process.
The existing EDFL Board of Management and EDNA Executive committee advise the following names have applied to join the five member EDFNL Board of Management in 2023.
NEWITT, Meaghan – Netball Operations Manager
PORTER, Karen – Director of Netball
There has been no nominations for three positions (3) – President, Director of Football & Football Operations Manager.
These three positions can be nominated for (subject to approval of two (2) member clubs) at the AGM on November 2022.
