Congratulations to Yarragon utility Darcy Paul and Neerim South forward Matthew Roberts.
Darcy was awarded the Ian Cooper medal for league best and fairest in the 2022 U/16 competition and Matthew was awarded the Bill Cumming medal for the league best and fairest in the U18s.
Both were presented with their medals at the league vote count at Catani football club this afternoon. In the U16s Darcy polled 32 votes six clear of Longwarry’s Josh Downes who was four ahead of Neerim South’s Max Williames. Darcy was super consistent polling in 12 matches and with nine BOGs, so to Josh who polled votes 11 times with six BOG’s.
