Queanbeyan Basketball's "I AM A GIRL" session
*I AM A GIRL is a program run by Basketball NSW that aims to create a platform to encourage females of all ages to play, referee, coach, officiate and administrate BASKETBALL. The program provides pathways and assists in the development of female role models.
*The program is supported by the New South Wales Government's Strategic Focus on women and girls in sport through the "Her Sport Her Way" program and basketball's goal to move towards gender equality.
*Come N Try sessions target skill development and emphasises fun.
Our free girls-only session is aimed at new or returning basketballers that want to learn some new skills and have a fun morning making new friends. Ages 6-15 years.

The I AM A GIRL Program is supported by the NSW Government's Strategic Focus on women and girls in sport through the #HerSportHerWay program and is a part of the overall NSW Legacy Program Pillars with a number of activations being rolled out each year leading up to the FIBA Women's Basketball World Cup 2022 with the Office of Sport.
