Ex-Northern Knights Development Manager Simon Dalrymple has been appointed the Western Bulldogs new Recruiting and Football Partnership Manager.
Dalrymple has been the Development Coach at the Western Bulldogs for the past 12 months.
Western Bulldogs General Manager of Football James Fantasia said Dalrymple had taken the skill acquisition program to new levels and assisted greatly in the development of the club’s young players since his arrival.
Prior to his involvement with the Western Bulldogs, Dalrymple was Development Manager at the Northern Knights in the TAC Cup for five years, where he played a significant role in the development of many of its drafted players. He also held the position of Head Coach of the Victoria Metro Under-16 side in the NAB National Championships in 2007.
“After an exhausting process we are delighted to announce this significant appointment," Fantasia said.
"Simon ticks all the boxes and has had the added value of working closely without experienced recruiting department this year.
"Simon presents a fresh approach and brings with him a multitude of experience."
