Message from the new Board
Hi everyone,
Following the QDBA Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Sunday, 28 November 2021, all board members met at the Queanbeyan Kangaroo’s Club (proud sponsors of Queanbeyan Basketball) for a handover discussion on Thursday, 2 December 2021. We would like to take this opportunity to thank all of the previous board members for steering the association through a very challenging two year period which was significantly impacted by COVID-19. We would also like to thank QDBA members for their attendance and participation in the AGM, it’s important that you have your say.
The new QDBA Board met on Tuesday, 7 December 2021 with our initial discussions focussed on finishing 2021 well, planning and preparation for 2022 as well as finalising board appointments.
The current board membership is as follows:

- Mae Grant – Treasurer
- Peta Virgo
- Kassie Watling
- Shannon White – President
We will provide more information in relation to the 2022 season in the next week or so.
