After a long and tough road to get the tournament underway the Volleyball Victoria Schools Championship concluded late on Wednesday 1 December! Thank you to all teachers, players, and coaches for an amazing experience!
Volleyball Victoria are pleased to announce that the 2021 Champion School is BILLANOOK COLLEGE!
The 2021 Volleyball Victoria Schools Championship was held Sunday 28 November to Wednesday 1 December, with 136 teams from 25 schools and 1 association. Billanook College claimed the Champion School with an incredibly impressive 630 points, which included three gold, two silver and one bronze medal in the honours divisions, followed by Eltham High School on 566 points and McKinnon Secondary College in third on 561 points.
The Champion School is determined by counting the points accumulated by up to the six best placed teams from each school. In 2021 Billanook College claimed title of Champion School at both the One Day Schools Cup and Schools Championship. A tremendous achievement!
Attention now turns to 2022 Schools Cup events beginning with the Beach Schools Cup in March.
Once again, congratulations to all schools, organisers, players, coaches, and referees for making this such a successful event.
