MG Plasterers SECBL Round 2 Preview

Following a highly competitive first round of action, the MG Plasterers SECBL returns tonight for a bunch of entertaining Round 2 match ups!
 
Kicking off the Women’s division on the Icehouse show court is the MG MATCH OF THE WEEK between the rising Bullroos and the Millicent Saints. In what will be the Saints first hit out for the summer, they’ll be looking to quell the influence of young star Macey Griffith, who was the pick of the bunch last week for the Pupjoeys.
 
In the late match the Panthers will be looking to avenge last week’s loss against the Cougars who scraped through by the barest of margins against the Bullroos in round 1. Watch out for the matchup between Pioneers gun Sophie Miles and Panthers top scorer Alyssa Duncan, who will take the chocolates out of this competitive duo?
 
On the men’s side the Panthers dynamic trio of Oli Thompson, Brad Rathjen, and Kyle Tipene will provide a significant defensive challenge to the Millicent Saints. Whilst the Panthers will have their hands full trying to contain big Man Murphy (Josh) in the interior.
 
Fresh off an explosive 3-point display, the Roo’s take on the reigning champion Bulldogs in what will be an intriguing battle of youthful talent versus winning experience in the mens MG MATCH OF THE WEEK. What can 41-point first game phenom Mackye Baron serve up for the Dogs?
 
In the men’s Millicent match the Cougars battle the Cats with both teams desperate to chalk up their first win of the season. This will be the battle of the brothers, as Millicent’s bustling Bradley’s (Kade and Fraser), take on the dangerous de Wit’s (Kane and Toby). Who will enter round 3 win less?
 
Come down Millicent Stadium and The Icehouse to support your club - Canteen and bar will be open, music will be on, and based on week one the level of basketball will be high!
