As per the State Government announcement, the following restrictions are now in place for all basketball activities effective 12.01am Tuesday the 6^th of July. This applies to all trainings, games, programs etc. in all venues. Due to capacity restrictions that affect the entire HBF Arena and other venues, basketball has very limited numbers of patrons that can attend trainings and games.

Restrictions:

• All venues are governed by the 150-patron capacity guidelines.Players are not required to wear masks while engaged in vigorous exercise but must wear them at all other times while indoors.
  • This applies to the entire venue meaning the basketball courts only get a limited number that is much less than 150.
    
• Players 12 and under do not have to wear a mask.
• Coaches must wear a mask at all times.

In ALL venues all junior trainings and games can proceed in line with the above conditions. However, due to the capacity numbers in venues only players and coaches will be allowed in venues – NO SPECTATORS.

ALL Junior activities including WABL and Domestic

• Can proceed without spectators.
• Players do not have to wear masks while on court but do at all other times unless aged 12 and under
• Coaches are required to wear a mask.

NBL1 Game Friday 9^th July

• Can proceed as scheduled without spectators.
• Only players coaches and essential staff can be in attendance due to strict capacity numbers.

Senior Domestic Games – POSTPONED

• Senior Domestic games scheduled for Wednesday the 6^th of July will be postponed and re-scheduled to a later date. This is due to the senior competition exceeding are allowed capacity numbers.

Holiday Camps and Programs

• This week’s Holiday Camp has been rescheduled to the 14^th and 15^th of July.
• Individual participants will be contacted via email with further information.
• Other camps originally scheduled for next week will go ahead as scheduled.
