Zach Riley and Brayden Inger continue hot form.

It was another good week for Harbour players both overseas and in New Zealand.

In the Sal’s NBL Brayden Inger continued his fine form with 18 points in the Southland Sharks 101-69 victory over the Franklin Bulls.

The former Rangitoto College wing is averaging 14.6 points per game in his rookie season.

Denhym Brooke is another Rangitoto College alumni and whilst Franklin Bulls had a disappointing weekend the rangy forward can hold his head high after two solid performances.

Denhym scored 9 points for Franklin Bulls in that loss to the Sharks and 12 points in the 104-64 loss to the Nuggets in Dunedin.

Current Rangitoto and Harbour U19 guard Zach Riley was outstanding for the Auckland Huskies in their come from behind win against the Canterbury Rams last Thursday at Eventfinda Stadium.

Zach posted 16 points, 4 rebounds and 2 assists as the Huskies prevailed 83-78.

In the same game Alex Talma was good for the Rams accumulating 13 points with the former Westlake forward then producing a double-double of 12 points and 10 rebounds as the Rams enjoyed a 92-68 bounce back win against the Taranaki Mountainairs.

There will be a host of former Harbour players on show on Thursday when the Franklin Bulls entertain Canterbury Rams in Pukekohe.

Jack Salt looks likely to return from injury to join Alex Talma in the Rams backcourt while Denhym Brooke will have Jaylen Gerrand, Dylan Wilkie and Jett Thompson suiting up in the yellow and black of the Bulls.

In Australia New Harbour Breeze recruit Micaela Cocks scored a game high 25 points with 8 of 12 from the field, including 5 from 9 from beyond the arc, as Townsville Flames defeated USC Rip City 75-53. The win keeps the Flames in the top-four of the NBL1 Northern Conference.

Also in NBL1 North Brisbane Capitals bounced back from back-to-back losses with an 87-59 victory over Red City Roar on Saturday. Shooting guard Brooke Blair top scored for the Capitals with 16 points.
