Gabe Chadinha joins the Wolfpack
The Chambers Franklyn City of Joondalup Wolves are excited to announce the signing of Gabe Chadinha for the 2021 NBL1 West season.
The 6’3” guard has represented the Wolves all the way through juniors. Gabe averaged 23 points last year during the WABL season and was awarded the WABL MVP in 2018. Gabe has also played in our D-League program for the last two years. He made his senior debut for the Wolves in the West Coast Classic last year and has already played two games of NBL1 this season where he is averaging 2.5ppg.
Gabe spoke to the Joondalup Wolves about signing with the Wolves and becoming a part of the NBL1 in 2021.
“I am excited and thankful for the opportunity to play for the Wolves NBL1 this season. Having had the opportunity to play alongside all these talented and professional guys and coaches we had last year was a good experience. Looking forward for the 2021 season.”
Joondalup Wolves CEO and Men’s Head Coach Andrew Summerville shared his thoughts on Gabe joining the Wolves for the 2021 NBL1 West season.
“Gabe is a really talented up and comer. He is athletic, plays at pace and has a scorers mentality. He still has a few years to go in his development but I predict he has the ability to be the next Reece Maxwell or the likes. He is a different cat that isn’t lacking in confidence and he certainly keeps us all entertained.”
Gabe joins Ben Ironmonger, Jacob Formosa, Jordan Wellsteed, Mitchell Newton, Reece Maxwell, Seb Salinas, Trian Iliadis, Hamish Warden, Jonathan Wade, Lochlan Cummings, Majier Garang, Matthew Teal, Robert Huntington and Joel Vaiangina on the Wolves Men’s 2021 roster.
