Billanook College have been awarded the Championship School shield as the most successful school of the 2021 Volleyball Victoria One Day Schools Cup.
The 2021 One Day Schools Cup was held over THREE DAYS on Wednesday 5, Thursday 6 and Friday 7 May. After the year off Volleyball Victoria were blown away by the 57 extra teams that entered from the 2019 event. Overall there were 196 teams from 38 schools competing!
The Championship School awarded is determined by the 6 best placed teams from each school with a gold medal finish being awarded 10 points, silver and bronze receiving 6 and 3 points respectively. Each subsequent team receives 1 point.
Billanook College received 45 points with three teams winning a gold medal, two teams silver and one team bronze! Billanook College were closely followed by McKinnon Secondary College (42 points) and Rowville Secondary College (41 points).
