Jim is a Life Member of the Le Hunte Football League, with this recognition passing to Mid West at the league merger with Streaky Bay FL in 1988. He is a Life Member of the Western Zone Junior Football Council for many years of junior association at Eyre Peninsula level. Additionally Jim is a Life Member of the former Wudinna FC, now the Wudinna United FC.
Well known across the Eyre Peninsula as the founder of Pringles Garage, he is well loved and respected by everyone.
Recognising long distinguished service to the ambulance, Jim was awarded the Medal of the Order of St John, presented by the Governor Sir Donald Dunstan at Government House in 1986.
We are grateful for the impact that Jim has had on our league, our game and the many hours that he has devoted to junior development. He has been a gentleman and a friend to us all.
Rest in peace
