Coach of the Month
Congratulations Steve Geel - our July winner!
It’s an honour to present Steve with the July coach of the month. Currently head coaching the Joondalup Wolves under 14 Championship Division Boys, under 18 Championship Division Boys and our Men’s Division 1 program as well as a domestic team and also an assistant coach in our Men’s SBL Program, you will see Steve around the stadium pretty much every day of the week.
A past player for the club and with 3 children also representing the Wolves at different levels “Steel”, as he is affectionately known, bleeds green and proves it with his tremendous commitment to coaching so many teams and giving back to our wider basketball community.
Steve is cool under pressure and has a wealth of experience as a player and coach and sets a fantastic standard for his players. Also, always willing to have a chat and talk hoops with his fellow coaches and give any assistance to a player that asks for it, Steve is of huge value to our association.
Thank you to Steve for your commitment to the Wolfpack Way and the time and effort you put into giving back. The effort, time and energy does not go unnoticed.
Keep up the great work!
