Wet weather saw a number of Northern NSW Football Premier Competitions matches washed out over the weekend. In the National Premier Leagues NNSW competition, all five matches were washed out on Sunday.
Weston’s derby with Maitland, Lake Macquarie’s clash with Adamstown Rosebud, Lambton’s trip to Valentine, Edgeworth’s meeting with Charlestown Azzurri and the Match of the Round between Newcastle Olympic and Broadmeadow Magic will all be rescheduled for a later date.
In the Herald Women’s Premier League competition, only one match was able to be played this weekend as Warners Bay downed New Lambton 2-1 at Arthur Edden Oval on Saturday.
Fixtures between Adamstown Rosebud and Broadmeadow Magic, Thornton and Newcastle Olympic and Mid Coast FC and Merewether United will be rescheduled after they were washed out on Sunday.
In the NEWFM Northern League One competition, three matches were able to be played on Saturday.
Cooks Hill United drew 3-3 with Singleton in the Match of the Round, while Belmont Swansea United downed high-flying New Lambton 3-2. Toronto Awaba also beat Thornton 3-1.
West Wallsend’s clash with Cessnock City and Kahibah’s trip to South Cardiff will be rescheduled after they were washed out on Sunday.
