CLUB STATEMENT
(11 MAY 2020)
Dear WBA Members, Community and Wolfpack family,
“The WBA wishes to advise the position of General Manager of Basketball Operations (held by Ryan Thompson) has been made redundant, effective immediately. Ryan has been an integral part of the management of the Association since 2016. Due to the current environment and structural changes in the organisation, the General Manager position is currently not required. Ryan has been responsible for considerable growth in our domestic and WABL competitions and has developed many programs that will continue to foster participation at the WBA. It was a difficult decision and one the WBA did not take lightly however ultimately the future of the association is at the core of our decision making. We wish Ryan and his family all the best and are sure he will be successful in his future endeavours; he will always be part of the Wolfpack Family.”
