Junior Finals Preview Wed

In what has been an exciting 2019/20 finals series there are now only two teams remaining to play for the title of premiers for all grades from u12 through to u19s

Wednesday 11 March

U14 girls Speewa V Swans 6pm Court 1

These teams finished 1st & 2nd throughout the home & away season with Swans winning the early games but Speewa have been able to secure the wins at the right end of the season. Montana Davies and Ava O'Brien have been a great combination for the Swans team while the skill & will to win of Jayda Plant supported by Andi & Maggie Meney this game is a must watch game right to the final siren!!!!

U12 boys Trotters v Swans 6:20pm Court 2

The Swans team led by Bryce Anderson has come from 4th position on the ladder to meet the 1st placed Trotters. Bryce Anderson from Swans & Trotters players Chad O'Sullivan & Max Thompson are the top point scorers in the U12 competition and all have plenty of skill & flare when scoring. This game may go down to the wire so winning the defensive end could be the important part to decide who will come out on top.

U19 Girls Trotters v Saints 6:50pm Court 1

Trotters upset the Saints team by 1 point in the 2nd semi 27 - 26. Ruby Kelly Guthrie sunk 3 three pointers & top scored with 14 points while Molly Brown worked hard throughout the game for her 10 points. Will the Saints be able to change the result in the Grand Final as Remi Bennett is returning to form after a few weeks out & Meg Rooney has been consistently good on the boards, or will the match ups from Trotters in Amy Jobling & Maddy Davies stop the Saints run??

U16 Boys Trotters v Rebels 7:10pm Court 2

Having only played twice this season with each team having a win there's not much separating them. Both have athletic quality players so this should be an entertaining game for spectators. Players to watch are Rebels Harry McGregor & Trotters Nick Taylor who are assertive in offence, however all players compete every possession & anyone can step up when needed so expect this to be a tight finish.
