Melbourne Victory FC vs. western Sydney Wanderers FC

The Jeff Hopkins Coached Melbourne Victory currently sitting in 5th Place after Rounds 1 & 2 with 1 Win and 1 Loss so far will be taking on 2nd Placed Western Sydney Wanderers who are in 2nd Place win 2 wins after the first 2 Rounds.

This will be a very important match for both sides, the Wanderers will be wanting to continue with their fine form and cement their position on the ladder, Victory will want to atone for thier last loss and get back on winning table.

It will also be great to see former local sporting idenity Jeff Hopkins back in Morwell, jeff was a former Coach of Gippsland Falcons and Eastern Pride in the old National Soccer League as well as Coaching Falcons 2000 SC in the early days of its formation, Jeff has also had great W-League success coaching the Brisbane Roar Women's Team to W-League Championships prior to him moving to Victory to take charge.
