Wolves CEO Departs
The Wanneroo Basketball Association has today announced that club Chief Executive Officer Cameron Britt will depart the club at the end of October.
Britt joined the Wolves in October 2015 from the Essendon Football Club and has led the business to position the Wolves as one of the premier community sporting clubs in Western Australia.
Significant change management was required during this time due to the successful transition to HBF Arena and 62% growth in membership, and during this period the Wolves have grown to become an incredibly consistent, successful and financially sustainable sporting organisation.
Cameron’s contribution to the Association during this time has been significant, establishing an operating structure that will deliver significant benefits and a sound foundation for continued growth, member engagement and success.
It is this that the membership is grateful for, and Cameron’s leaves the Association with our best wishes for success for future roles.
Britt will leave the club with fond memories, citing a bright future ahead for the club:-
“It has been my absolute privilege to lead this business, especially through such a sustained period of growth, innovation and change”
“I would like to thank the entire Wolfpack community and membership for their support, along with our amazing club staff and the highly supportive Board. Sports administration is a team effort and there’s so much for Wolves fans to look forward into the future” Britt concluded.
The Association will now explore interest from prospective, suitably qualified sports management or business leaders who are interested in leading the Wolfpack through its next phase of growth.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate their ability to lead a high-performance culture, build strong relationships with stakeholders, commercialise key opportunities and work within the Association’s structures and support networks to deliver sustained success for the entire club.
Interested candidates, or those who may like to support the program in other roles, are encouraged to contact Association President Ryan Hunter for a confidential chat.
