Stars of the future to take to the court
And with a bit of luck they might even be wearing a Shepparton Gators singlet.
Certainly, there will be plenty of outstanding talent on show at the Future Stars 12 and under Country Championships.
After successful tournament seasons, the Shepparton teams are looking forward to strong performances, especially as most participated in the event last year when it was under-12.
Coached by Fred Reed, the boys won one tournament this season at Echuca and were runners-up at Shepparton and Wodonga.
The girls team, with Gale Hatton in charge, was runner-up at Echuca and Wodonga.
They have improved significantly and certainly look the part with support from Conti's Dairy and Sportsco allowing members of the squad to have their own personalised sports bag complete with drink bottles and equipment from Athlete's Foot.
