A solid performance from Perth Glory saw them run out 3-1 winners over Inglewood United at E&D Litis Stadium on Saturday.

Former Glory man Chok Dau opened the scoring for the visitors but Glory turned it around with goals from Ethan Brooks, Henry Hore and Gomo Dukuly.

The result meant Glory leapfrogged Inglewood into second place on the NPL WA table.

However, it was Inglewood who made the better start as Brian Woodall perfectly set up Dau but his shot was deflected behind by Glory keeper Nicolas Speca.

Speca was again called into action when Samuel Riak was sent through by Woodall and Speca was forced into two good saves.

Inglewood went ahead on 19 minutes after they were given a penalty following Joshua Rawlins' shove on Anthony Bafobusha. Dau had his spot kick saved by Speca but was able to put away the rebound.

It wasn't the greatest start from Glory but they began to work their way into the match and Trent Ostler saw his effort sail just over the bar.

The equaliser came after 38 minutes. Brooks collected the ball on the edge of the box before cutting back onto his right foot and producing a tidy finish into the bottom corner.

The match remained all square until 12 minutes from time when Hore made it 2-1. The Glory man unleashed a fantastic strike that left Inglewood keeper Alex Dunn with no chance.

Dukuly made sure of the result with five minutes left to play after he found space inside the box and beat Dunn at his near post with a powerful shot.
