Near perfect conditions at all grounds with very minimal wind, but the winners at all venues wayward with their goal kicking. The Hawks head the ladder undefeated and giving the clear message "catch us if you can!" Tigers competitive but just could'nt match the four quarter pressure of the Hawk machine. The Bulldogs look the most likely to challenge the leaders, with a convincing demolition over the undermanned Magpies at Kyancutta. The big guns from the Dog House all firing!
Big day out for Simon Webb as his eight goal haul paved the way for the Bombers to seek a level of revenge over the Roosters for last year's Preliminary Final at this venue - Elliston. Not the same thing, but the Bombers now very much back in the thick of it for 2019, raising themselves from last to third on the back of the win.
At the end of round three, no team is winless and a crush developing for the coveted finals places.
