Get along to the VFL finals this weekend and see schoolboys kick off in the 2008 Sherrin Superkick!
Under-17 players from the TAC Cup regions will kick off for a place in the grand final at the Celebration of Victorian Football on Friday, September 26 at Telstra Dome. The 2008 Sherrin Superkick grand final at half-time of the 2008 VFL Grand Final.
The first heat will be this Saturday at half-time of the VFL final between Williamstown and Frankston at TEAC Oval, Port Melbourne.
Heat one - Saturday, September 13:
Guy Phelps, Box Hill Secondary College/Eastern Ranges
Adam Taylor, Horsham College/North Ballarat Rebels
William Patone, Notre Dame College Shepparton/Murray Bushrangers
Shaun Marusic, Koo Wee Rup Secondary College/Gippsland Power
The second heat will be this Sunday at half-time of the VFL final between Werribee Tigers and Casey Scorpions at TEAC Oval, Port Melbourne.
Heat two - Sunday, September 14:
Cam Johnston, St Josephs College Geelong/Geelong Falcons
Daniel Schibecci, Maribynong Secondary College/Western Jets
Max Leishman, Brighton Grammar/Sandringham Dragons
Luke Shaw, Box Hill Secondary College/Northern Knights
Heat three will be run on Saturday, September 20 during half-time of the VFL preliminary final at TEAC Oval, Port Melbourne.
The VFL finals series matches at Port Melbourne start at 1.10pm. Get along and support the boys in the 2008 Sherrin Superkick!
