It is great to announce the inaugural Breakthrough Community Football Round - an opportunity to support and raise awareness for much needed funds towards mental health in your community.Saturday June 22nd is all set with our exciting new fixture on the Community Football Calendar, we are fired up to raise awareness and funds for Mental Health – a social issue impacting many Football Clubs and communities alike.
We welcome all South Australian Football Club’s that have registered to participate and look forward to help making your fund raising both fun and successful.Participating clubs will receive unique Breakthrough purple and blue arm tape to wear on the day to show your support. For those clubs who haven’t done so yet, Register here to receive your Breakthrough Community Football Round ‘Welcome Pack’.
If your club is an away/visiting team on this weekend, we absolutely encourage your participation so please also register – Click that you are an away club in the form and the Breakthrough team will be in touch.
In early May you will receive your welcome pack which will include a range of tools to support your activations and initiatives, including: Information about Breakthrough, pre-written social media graphics, fundraising ideas and a media release.
Registration is vital for ordering of the arm tape to ensure your club has enough supply for all teams and supporters, so we ask that all clubs who haven’t already registered please do so by Friday 5th April.
