Perth Glory put on a dazzling performance to run away 5-0 winners in their National Premier Leagues WA encounter against Armadale at Alfred Skeet Reserve.
Armadale keeper Sam Hutchings produced some fine saves early in the match however it was his error that allowed Gabriel Popovic to bundle home.
It was 2-0 just before half time after a sustained spell of pressure when Walter Scott found Jacob Italiano with acres of space in the area to calmly slot home.
Armadale went into the match on top of the table with two wins from two. But this was a reality check, even though they showed a bit more impetus to start the second half with South Sudan international Friday Zico looking lively.
But the game was effectively over as a contest when Italiano and Popovic combined for Popovic to nod home from close range.
It was 4-0 minutes later when Henry Hore danced through three Armadale defenders before placing past Hutchinson.
Armadale nearly had something to celebrate when Adriano Jelenovic raced away from his marker and forced an outstretched save from Jackson Lee with referee Shane Skinner playing advantage when many wanted a freekick.
It got from bad to worse when Armadale defender Nathan Costello was sent off for a foul when the last man.
And Nick Walsh rounded off the scoring to put the finishing touches on a brave performance and hand Armadale their first loss of the season.
