The Basketball Tasmania Referee Action Day will be Saturday 23 February 9.00am – 1.00pm, Newstead College Launceston. It is the training day for all Tasmanian referees and referee coaches and will consist of professional upskilling and development sessions on court and off court.

All referees who are desirous of selection to the Vic/Tas Elite Panel, NRDP, be selected for Australian Junior Championships, Country Cup and Basketball Tasmania State League, Score table, Stats need to attend.

We also encourage coaches at all levels to attend so they can be upskilled in the latest rule interpretations and understand the technical mechanics of officiating.

The action day will be led by Peter Carey Basketball Australia’s Officials Manager and also John Rearden Basketball Australia National Federation Referee Instructor.
