Thankyou for the consultation responses regarding a Program for 2019
The general feel from responses received is that we should trial a Saturday 1st Semi Final and Sunday 2nd Semi Final, but then there is a separation of opinion on what to do next. Options are attached and summarised:
Option A The original draft program
Option B Merge 1st and 2nd Semi Finals and start one week later on 13 April 19
Option C Merge 1st and 2nd Semi Finals and have a single bye round, (suggested the middle week of the July school holidays)
Option D Merge 1st and 2nd Semi Finals and have a split round in the school holidays, clubs still get a week's break.
No one has come up with a reduced rounds solution at this point.
Another consideration is whether the 1st and 2nd semi finals be reversed, ie 2nd Semi Saturday/1st Semi Sunday. The higher placed team in the minor round (loser of 2sf) gets an extra days break over the winner of the 1st Semi for the Preliminary Final?
Central Eyre (Second Semi) or Wirrulla (First Semi)
You guys could be the Sunday hosts first up, would you be OK with that?
Mid West Netball Association
This will impact the traditional senior medals Sunday bash. Could that be moved to the Preliminary Final Sunday, or another date?
Inter-League Match in May
Programmed to be against Great Flinders here in Mid West. Could clubs wishing to host this match please raise an expression of interest in writing prior to the AGM for a vote and decision.
General
This is for clubs (football/netball) and Netball Assoc consideration and then Agenda item at the AGM for final vote
