West Coast Hawks v Elliston
The young Hawks machine have not been beaten this year, stronger bodies, with height, speed and ability on their side. The young Roosters are impressive, smaller in stature, there is some real up and coming stars of the future.
The Hawks have a history of nurturing young talent, which is the base of their ongoing senior success, and also the success of so many other clubs across the state. This year the medallists Jonti Brice and Jacob Baldock have had stand out years, club and representative level, Bailey Hawes, Nathan Hill, Mich Gazzola, Hayden Brands have all been proliffic, strength of Kyan Saunders, and youngsters coming through such as Jett Brooks and Blake Kenny.
Elliston have also had a fantastic year, Josh Nuske and Jacob Newton high class players in a great side, Yarni Cobby, Kasper Cummings, Jordan Little are hard working bigger players in a team that never gives up. Young classy Harvey Kelsh, Brodie Callaghan and Tyrese Watkins. Together they work for each other and play with a level of enthusiasm for their mates, their Guernsey and their club, so many clubs could learn from.
The overall bigger bodies of the Hawks will see them start favourites, but expect the Roosters to be in the game for a long time
