Billanook College has been awarded the 2018 Three Day Schools Cup Champion School in an incredibly close contest. The Champion School was not determined until the final two matches of the entire competition with Billanook finishing only five points above Eltham High School.
The 2018 Three Day Schools Cup was held Friday 27 to Sunday 29 July, with more than 170 teams from 36 Schools competing. Billanook College claimed the Champion School with 595 points, which included three gold and one bronze medal in the honours divisions, followed closely by Eltham High School on 590 points and Mazenod College in third on 574 points.
The Champion School is determined by counting the points accumulated by up to the six best placed teams from each school. Billanook College are the third school to win a Schools Cup event this year, with Rowville taking out the One Day Schools Cup and Maribyrnong College the Beach Schools Cup
Attention now turns to the upcoming Volleyball Victoria Primary Schools Cup which will be held 23 November. Online entries will open in October.
