Mid West and Far North Sides, along with the program and events
The Mortlock squad went through a final training run at Wudinna in windy conditions. Coach Jason Mc Evoy and Assistant Coach Scott Feltus undertook skills and strategy in readiness for the oldest football carnival in Australia.
Following tea the team was announced, comprising a great balance of height and speed. Players selected are in good form at clubs, there is plenty to look forward to at this year's carnival. The first match is against Far North, 9.00am Saturday. The team was announced by current President Matt Cook, with former President and Life Member Paul (Gus) May speaking the enjoyment of higher level representative football, and the friendships made that will last a lifetime.
Far North will be keen to assert themselves, boasting a growing league and coached by former Eyre Peninsula identify Trevor (Boof) Grenfell.
Monday games will be based on Saturday's results.
All matches will be live streamed, and also available afterwards on this website.
Good luck to all players and officials, thankyou for your commitment to our League.
