Wolves Embrace Business Community
On Thursday May 17 the Wolves delivered a special event, titled From Boardroom to Basketball Court. The session involved 60 representatives from the local business community, and was co-delivered with both the Wanneroo and Joondalup Business Associations.
Guests, including Emily Hamilton MLA, Member for Joondalup, heard from club CEO Cameron Britt, who outlined the club's unique geographic and brand-build competitive advantage, along with stats and anecdotes of the club's major growth story over the past couple of years.
Several high-value, high-quality commercial packages were presented, with the club buoyed by the substantial interest across the room, which included a diverse group of enterprise interests such as accounting, events, IT, real estate, tourism and politics.
Business identities were also given a taste of high performance sports preparation and what defines a championship culture, with Men's Head Coach Ben Ettridge providing some quality insights, including a miked-up training session, viewed by guests from the club's premium viewing balcony.
The Wolves bold vision is to be 'the destination of choice for Basketball' and embracing and engaging the local business community is an important pillar, supporting the achievement of this vision.
As WA Basketball's fastest growing club, the Joondalup Wolves look forward to further building partnerships with their business community, providing mutual benefits for the long-term.
