The GVL has announced its preliminary U18 Interleague Squad to play against the Ballarat FNL at Punt Road Oval on Saturday 19 May.
Coach Jason Wells is pleased with the way the Squad is taking shape.
“The initial squad has been selected after watching the first four rounds of this season and the second half of last season” he said.
“All clubs are represented in the initial squad which is a great reflection on the spread of talent across the League and the overall evenness of competition.”
“The first training session will be held on 2 May with further sessions on 9 and 16 May with the 16 May session to be the final team, including a couple of emergencies.”
“The coaches are really looking forward to this year’s campaign and to the opportunity to playing at Punt Road against what will no doubt be a strong Ballarat outfit.”
