The introduction to referee courses, or Green Shirt Courses, are clinics for parents, players or those new to basketball and want to learn some basic basketball rules.

The on court course will see you learning in a fun and practical way the rules of the game, how to communicate with the scorenbench, correct areas to stand on the court all of which will give you greater confidence in making the right call.

To provide training and development for new referees Maree French and Dave Farmer, both SEABL panel referee will be delivering a introduction referee course in the South and North West.

There is no cost to attend but we need you to wear clothing and shoes to enable you to run up and down the court and also to have your own whistle.

The next court in the north-west will take place this coming Friday 20th April @ the Burnie Stadium.
