Manwaring has arrived yesterday in the country to conduct level `0` coaching course for PE Teachers in and around Honiara starting today Wednesday 10th - Friday 12th March. While in Honiara he will also help out in preparing the Solomon Island Basketball Youth Team that will take part in the un coming youth tournaments in Coffs Harbour on June/July 2004, meeting with the Solomon Island Basketball Federation in drafting their program of action for the next four to five years.
The trip was made possible with the help of the National Olympic Committee of Solomon Islands under their Solidarity program and also the Oceania Basketball Confederation. The Solomon Island Basketball Federation would like sincerely
NOCSI and the OBC for their ongoing support in the development of basketball in the country.
