Welcome to the 2018 Griffith basketball Association Autumn competition.

2018 sees the Association go to the online registration system that BNSW has adopted and implemented for the coming season. It is not going to an easy transition for us all, we acknowledge this, we will make mistakes but endeavour to get the transition into place and hopefully as painless as possible.

Once you register online you can then update your details etc and bring them all up to date. We have already noticed that there have been a few junior registrations that didn’t make the transition, we will work with you towards bring everything back into line immediately.

You will need to update all your details, address, phone numbers and in particular email address’s.

We are going to have 2 registration nights this Thursday and the following Thursday the 22cnd  with the vision of getting the competitions under way within 2 weeks once we have ticked all the boxes at our end.

Registration night Thursday the 15^th and 22cnd: (JUNIORS)

We will take registrations at the stadium and will help all existing registered players reregister for this year. If you are familiar with the SPORTS-TG  program then you will know what to do.

You can only register your name and not a team as we will still place players into teams for the season.

Age groups

11, 13, 15, 17 years and under, yes, we are looking to run a 17 year and under competition on a Thursday night if we get enough interest. This can be a mixed side of male and female players. With all the juniors leaving our regular junior competitions we are hoping to keep them all involved in the game and by having the 17 years and under competition prior to heading into the senior competition.

Fees have been kept the same as last season and may need to go up next season to cover the charges imposed on the association for being a member of the new registration process.

The representive players playing up an age group need to let us know on the registration nights so we can allocate you a team to play in only. Do not register twice for an individual.

The under 16 teams will play together in senior competitions. 16 boys in B men, B women A women, 18 boys and girls in the A grade competition. Players who have already been playing in A grade must play in the rep sides and then can only play in another side in a lower division.

The A grade sides who will lose these players have the option of bringing the under 16 players up to fill these positions left vacant from the 18 boys.

 

 

 

SENIOR COMPETITION Registrations.

The association will take the team registration on the registration nights, if you wish to pay on the night, moneys will still be received and allocated accordingly. However, after these nights all registrations will be done online. Provisions will be made to make this process be available at the stadium.

Your team name will be registered,

 your team representative will be sent a team link,

and you will be responsible for getting your team members to register online to your team ASAP.

When players register you must complete the full registration process and complete the payment online. If you don’t you will not be permitted to play.
