Traffic delays getting to Collingwood venues - Round 11

This weekend, there will be closures to some sections of Hoddle St (see below).

Please allow significant extra time if travelling to or from games at Collingwood or Fitzroy particularly. Carlton Baths, Princes Hill Secondary and Princes Hill Primary may also be affected.

If coming from the East:

  • For games at Fitzroy, Carlton Baths, Princes Hill Secondary and Princes Hill Primary, people may wish to consider taking the Chandler Highway exit and using Heidelberg Road
  • For games at Collingwood, people may wish to consider exiting at Wellington St or Smith St, rather than Hoddle St
  • Depending on where people are coming from, they may consider not using the Freeway, but using Johnston St and Wellington St instead

If going East:

  • The entrance to the Eastern Freeway coming from Clifton Hill will be closed on Saturday. To access the Eastern Freeway from the north, including if coming from Fitzroy High, options include entering the freeway via Wellington St and Alexander Parade, or using Heidelberg Road and Chandler Highway or Burke Road

Please check for traffic congestion via Google Maps or similar for the current conditions before leaving. Please allow significant additional time!
