With all 18 AFL clubs participating, the AFL Community Camps see over 750 players each spending two days meeting fans and developing stronger links between Australian Football and the community.
The AFL Community Camps are an essential part of the AFL calendar which recognises the importance of grassroots football and the community in Australia’s game. On Monday 19th and Tuesday 20th February, the Brisbane Lions will be spread across the Toowoomba region and Lockyer Valley. Lions players are scheduled to visit numerous schools, hold a coaching masterclass, an opportunity to dine with the Lions and two super clinics in Toowoomba and Gatton respectively.
So, here is your chance to meet the mighty Brisbane Lions;
Toowoomba – Monday 19th February
Venue: Concordia Lutheran College, 154 Stephen Street – Toowoomba
Time: 5:00pm to 6:00pm
Gatton – Monday 19th February
Venue: Lockyer Valley AFC – Cahill Park, Buaraba Street – Gatton
Time: 4:00pm to 6:00pm
