Kidner & Zadina Reunite
The Chambers Franklyn Joondalup City Wolves are thrilled to announce the return of quality forward and 2016 State Basketball League Most Improved Player Amy Kidner to the 2018 Women’s roster.
Kidner, a popular long-term Wolfpack person, spent a season away from the game, living and working in the UK during 2017.
She has now returned, determined to support the Lady Wolves reach the lofty heights of her breakout 2016 season, where she played in a narrow Grand Final defeat and announced herself as a scoring machine in the League.
The Wolves are further pleased to announce the signing of a new WSBL Import, with former NCAA Division 1 North Colorado University 3-4 Kourteney Zadina joining the roster for the 2018 season.
A mobile scorer with great range, Zadina is noted for her ability and versatility in playing both inside and outside.
Kidner and Zadina were College team-mates in the USA and in a nice link, reunite back in Australia to add some further scoring potency to the Lady Wolves group. Knowing each other, and their styles of play, will be a huge bonus for the club.
