AFL Darling Downs are looking for a part time Football Operations Coordinator who will be responsible for the sound administration and day-to-day operations of all AFL Darling Downs – men’s, women’s, youth and junior competitions.
This will include responsibility for competition management, planning and effective communication with clubs, umpires and other key stakeholders.
The position will become effective from the beginning of February and run through to the beginning of December 2018 (10 months).

Key Accountabilities
- Take on role as registrar with all registrations and transfers (Sports TG)
- Manage all competition fixturing arrangements
- Manage competition arrangements
- Oversee weekly match day tasks
- Respond to club enquiries, including match day issues
- Administer rules and by-laws and manage associated issues
- Manage finals series
- Liaise with the Umpires Association and within related agreements including payments
- Appoint independent tribunal and co-ordinate tribunal hearings
- Co-ordinate all matters relating to insurance
- Oversee media content on league communications, including club communications, website, football record and annual report.
- Ensure that the league operates efficiently and effectively at all times
