Coaching appointments have been confirmed for the AFL Victoria Community Championships, as the GOTAFE Goulburn Valley League plans to return to the winner’s list against the Ballarat Football Netball League in 2018.
Joining coach Luke Morgan again from the 2017 campaign are Brad Campbell, Brendan Vanderdonk, James Flaherty and Sam Little.
Former Echuca coach Andrew Briggs, is also a welcome addition to the panel for 2018.
Coach Luke Morgan is happy to finalise his coaching panel well before the start of the 2018 season.
“To have Brad, Brendan, James and Sam confirm their commitment again for 2018 is great news” he said.
“It provides for stability and consistency in the selection process and with the planning for match day in what will be a hugely important game for the League.”
“To add someone of Andrew’s calibre to the coaching panel is also a huge bonus.”
“We are confident and excited that we will be able to secure the services of the best talent in the Goulburn Valley with the possibility of playing at the MCG.”
“Planning is already underway including selection meetings towards the end of March and three likely training sessions in the lead up to the match against Ballarat.”
