DIVISION 1 WOMEN - 2018 TRIALS
Trials for the Maitland Mustangs Division 1 Women begin on Wednesday 3rd January 2018, 8pm at Maitland Federation Centre.
After a narrow loss in last year’s semi-final to eventual Champions Bathurst, the Division 1 Women will be competing to qualify for their 4th consecutive finals appearance.
PLAYERS IN THE U/18 PROGRAMS ARE ENCOURAGED TO ATTEND TRIALS AND JOIN THE POOL OF DEVELOPMENT PLAYERS FOR THE SENIOR WOMEN’S TEAM.
All female players born in the year 2000 or earlier are eligible to trial. If you are unable to attend the first trial it is essential that you contact team coach Mark Wawszkowicz on 0400745286 to register your interest.
The Waratah Basketball League regular season commences Saturday 10th March and concludes on Saturday 4th August. The Division 1 women’s competition involves a combination of home and away fixtures in Eastern and Northern NSW and central venue weekends against teams from Southern and Western regions. The finals are played amongst the top 6 teams over the Waratah League finals weekend on Saturday 17th and Sunday 18th August 2018.
